Dr Bhandare will discuss the Museum’s James Prinsep papers from the Heberden Coin Room archives. These cast important light on the mind of the pioneer numismatist, epigraphist and Indologist, who in his short life of 41 years (1799-1840) left an indelible legacy in uncovering the mysteries of India’s past.
