Over the centuries countless artists have depicted the city of Edo/Tokyo. Ahead of the exhibition Tokyo – Art & Photography, Clare will look at the ways in which this vibrant metropolis and its dynamic citizens have been portrayed in woodblock prints – a medium that has been closely associated with the city for over 300 years.
