'Fill your senses with sound'

Come and join our new season of toddler-friendly, hands-on events, designed to explore our collections through all the senses.

Our presenter will play the harpsichord and take you on an interactive exploration of instruments in Gallery 44.

This is followed by musical craft creation and sensory exploration in the Learning studio.

Accompanying older children and adults can also learn about music, art and archaeology through their sense. There will be things to take home too...

Location and Practical Information

The event takes place in the Learning Studio on the lower ground floor, which is lift-accessible. Buggies or pushchairs are welcome in the Museum and we can also store buggies if needed. Participants will also go up into the galleries during the event.

This event is one in our 2023 series of Sensory Stories for Families
