Christiana Payne is Professor Emerita at Oxford Brookes University and Curator of the Ashmolean’s major Spring 2021 exhibition, Pre-Raphaelites: Drawings and Watercolours. In this talk she will examine works created by the Pre-Raphaelites in Oxford, including the Oxford Union murals, the paintings bought by Thomas and Martha Combe, the Burne-Jones stained glass in Christ Church Cathedral and the Burne-Jones/William Morris tapestry at Exeter College.
