Dr Anja Ulbrich is responsible for a collection of almost 7,000 objects, as well as the Ancient Cyprus Gallery. For this exclusive Members' talk, Dr Ulbrich will speak about a group of votive terracotta figures from Kition-Kamelarga, which give intriguing and fascinating insights into Cypriot art, religion and cult during the early Archaic period (750–600 BC). Some 40 of these are on display in the Ancient Cyprus gallery. Join us to discover more about one of the Ashmolean’s most important antiquities collections, and the ancient culture it represents.
